July 4th Weekend

The weekend began with the Munter Clan arriving & we headed out to a Guy Fieri's bbq place he visited here in KC...RJ's Bob B Que - Delish.

Caleb Loved the Ribs!! - Notice the sauce on the cheeks

We headed out to Youngs Pool for most of the day, Saturday - Everyone had a blast!!

The kids were playing DunkORama with Uncle Bryan...

We found this great place to go watch a Free outdoor movie, but the movie was cancelled cuz of portential rain, so we hung out and ended up seeing some fireworks!

Our annual neighborhood parade was fun, once again - 2 years ago, the Munters rode the parade with us too.

Nate/Kirsten & their kids joined us on the 4th for a BBQ & fun times outside!

Tim grilled up a mean grill of beer brats & a delish pan of beans.

Caleb & Emma drew a fabulous Flag on the driveway

We had a great 4th of July weekend & loved having my sister and her family here to celebrate with us.

Caleb's Baseball Skills today...

It's exciting to see Caleb develop his baseball knowledge and skill set this season.

He is very tuned in to where the play needs to be made while he's on defense.

Today he got to play first base & right field.  Tim was the photographer & caught this play Caleb made to get the batter out @ 1st!

Caleb is 6 Years Old!

Mothers Day!!

Mother's Day is great for many reasons:
Reflect upon our Mother's & smile
Enjoy the day with our own children
Dream about the children we will have
Rejoice with our friends around us who are great Mother's

My Mother's day was filled with some of the things I love:
Breakfast in bed - delivered by my boys & surprised with breakfast as I came out of the shower (I love surprises)
Church with my boys
Stories with my boys
Lunch with my boys - grilled by my hubby & my Caleb
Naps - Alone!
Outside fun playing tennis with my boys

What a fabulous day & a joyous reminder of how sweet life is as a mother of 2 boys!
