We loaded up the 3 kiddos and our luggage for the weekend, heading to Chicago to stay at a friend's house right by the seminary. We are hoping for a little city living experience with the kids.
Since I'd rather venture out on foot, than load up the kiddos and drive, we headed out this morning to visit some friends and their new baby, then hit the drug store for some antihistamine for Samantha who had a reaction to their dog or to the soap she used in her shower, then we grabbed lunch at 2 Asian brothers, a NPU favorite. All while daddy was rehearsing and lunching with his fellow graduates.
We get to stay at one of the houses that Tim was able to stay at when he was in Chicago for classes. Andy is our host & we have lots of comfortable space to sleep & play! We are blocks from campus and are loving it.
With surprise entry, Lori and Bryan Munter joined us, just before we walked down to campus for the robing of the graduates and ceremony.
Throughout the ceremony, you could hear Samantha yelling "hi Daddy"
